Growing up in a household immersed in music, where my father, a skilled musician, graced us with his talent through rehearsals and captivating concerts, I was enveloped in a world of harmonious melodies. Those formative years not only exposed me to the beauty of the arts but instilled in me a profound appreciation for the intricacies of the creative process, the finesse of technique, and the enchantment of technology. Every note played, every chord struck, resonated with a deep-seated passion that continues to guide me in my journey of artistic exploration and discovery. Before I ever even thought to work in photography I was a professional musician myself, working with bands in Poland and Ireland for many years. This was a productive time in my career and it allowed some artistic expression, but I felt I needed another outlet to assert my individual style. I bought my first real camera in 2009. I bought it on a whim, but I was eager to take up photography as a hobby. I studied many different photographers, techniques and processes in the early stages but through this study I found that I enjoyed capturing candid moments in life; people’s gestures and expressions. The “shoot from the hip and hope for the best” approach suited me. My hobby gradually turned into a career. This revelation left me torn between two things that I love.

In essence, I’m a musician at heart, but I’m a photographer by profession.
